The City Logistics Driver’s Competition 2018 is a competition, in which drivers from both Linehaul & Distribution divisions are challenged. Technical and practical abilities are assessed under stringent conditions, with the focus on best practice techniques.
This event was the third Driver Competition that City Logistics held, having commenced in 2014. Our in-house driver training program which is managed by certified Mercedes-Benz Driver trainers has been most successful and evident in the caliber of the drivers participating in the competition.
The top five contestants from both the Linehaul and Distribution divisions battled it out in the ‘Finals’, which was coordinated and conducted by Nosa Logistics (Training Solutions) in conjunction with City Logistics.
Nosa Logistics is a training company accredited with the South African Institute of materials handling (SAIMH), as well as the Road Transport Industry Education Training Board (RTIETB) and is highly proficient in conducting operator and driver training competitions.
The finalists went head to head in a practical, as well as theory challenge and this took place at the Umdloti RTI facility on the 17th August 2018.
Congratulations to the worthy winners!
