Employees are taught how their role impacts on others in the supply chain process and the importance of working as a team, in order to achieve our overall objectives of service excellence.

Training initiatives focus on ‘business acumen’ and performance indicators, to ensure better understanding of how various departments integrate so every employee is ‘customer focused, solutions driven’.

Staff healthcare is very important to us and we hold regular HIV clinic visits, Wellness workshops and programs, which have been most effective in both the prevention and treatment of HIV, Prostate & Breast Cancer screening & Diabetes.

RISK MANAGEMENT

The City Logistics Risk team manage all aspects of Health and Safety and security in the organisation.

Due to the 2020 Covid 19 Pandemic stringent regulations, implementing new standards and operational parameters, have been enforced such as social distancing, revised access control and revised delivery store protocols. The Risk team have embraced these challenges and work tirelessly to protect staff, client cargo and assets.

Delivery routes such as the N3, are patrolled, especially during Protest action, to ensure driver, vehicle and cargo safety.
